Anne is a writer, communications consultant, independent journalist, editor, and photographer, with a focus on social and environmental topics. You can read some of Anne’s recent journalistic work here.

Anne stepped away from the corporate world in 2013 and has since pursued several writing and communications projects. To date, Anne has lived in four countries (India, USA, Singapore & the Netherlands) and has been travelling long-term to several places in southeast Asia and in the Indian Ocean region. Her world view is shaped by her observations and experiences in these places.

In 2015, during her time living in Singapore, Anne researched and authored a 200-pge coffee table book on the decorative tiles seen in the heritage precincts of the city. This book briefly traces the history of tiles from 6,000 years ago to modern day Singapore.
